Ingredients, honestly
Minoxidil is a vasodilator: it widens blood vessels. Applied to the scalp, it is thought to help hair follicles by prolonging the growth (anagen) phase of the hair cycle, so hairs can grow longer and thicker over time. The exact mechanism isn’t fully understood.
Results typically take 3–6 months of continued, as-directed use, and you need to keep using it to keep the results. Some temporary shedding can happen in the first weeks as follicles reset. That’s a known part of starting.
